SPECIES OF BEES | WOODEN PUZZLE BLOCKS | — BY WOODEN STORY®

Wooden Story® is a European family brand spanning three generations, creating beautifully handcrafted wooden toys since 1969. Inspired by nature, imagination and the timeless simplicity of childhood, each piece is made in Europe from carefully selected FSC®-certified wood.

Designed to be loved, treasured and passed from one generation to the next, Wooden Story brings together traditional craftsmanship, thoughtful play and deep respect for the natural world.

WHY WE LOVE IT

The Species of Bees Puzzle Blocks invite children to discover the fascinating diversity of bees and the essential role these remarkable insects play in the natural world.

The six illustrated wooden blocks can be turned and rearranged to complete detailed portraits of different bee species. Children observe the colours, wings, bodies and distinctive markings of each bee, using the accompanying illustrated cards to guide their discoveries.

We love how this beautifully designed puzzle extends learning beyond the playroom. The set includes a packet of nectar plant seeds, encouraging children to create their own bee-friendly garden and experience how even a small act can help protect pollinators.

Combining puzzles, natural science and gardening, the set introduces biodiversity in a tangible and memorable way. It encourages children to look more carefully at the living world and understand why bees are so important to plants, ecosystems and the food we grow.

Beautiful enough to display and rich in opportunities for discovery, it is a thoughtful educational toy designed to inspire curiosity, observation and a lifelong respect for nature.
