LOCOMOTIVE | NOSTALGIC | — BY WOODEN STORY®

Wooden Story® is a European family brand spanning three generations, creating beautifully handcrafted wooden toys since 1969. Inspired by nature, imagination and the timeless simplicity of childhood, each piece is made in Europe from carefully selected FSC®-certified wood.

Designed to be loved, treasured and passed from one generation to the next, Wooden Story brings together traditional craftsmanship, thoughtful play and deep respect for the natural world.

WHY WE LOVE IT

The Wooden Locomotive is a timeless toy on wheels that invites little travellers into a world of imaginary journeys, undiscovered landscapes and stories waiting to unfold.

Perfectly shaped for small hands, the locomotive rolls smoothly across the floor as it carries invisible passengers, precious cargo and an endless collection of childhood dreams. It might travel through a magical forest, climb an imaginary mountain or race towards a station built entirely from wooden blocks.

We love how such a simple toy can become something completely different with every game. Without lights, sounds or predetermined functions, children are free to decide where the locomotive is travelling and what adventures might happen along the way.

The natural colours and distinctive grains of different wood species make each locomotive subtly unique. Finished with beeswax and botanical oils, its carefully sanded surface feels exceptionally smooth and comforting to the touch.

Small enough to accompany children wherever they go yet rich in opportunities for imaginative play, it is a beautiful wooden toy designed to be enjoyed, treasured and passed on.
