WOODEN BLOCKS IN TRAY | NATURAL | 54 PIECES | — BY WOODEN STORY®

Wooden Story® is a European family brand spanning three generations, creating beautifully handcrafted wooden toys since 1969. Inspired by nature, imagination and the timeless simplicity of childhood, each piece is made in Europe from carefully selected FSC®-certified wood.

Designed to be loved, treasured and passed from one generation to the next, Wooden Story® brings together traditional craftsmanship, meaningful play and deep respect for the natural world.

WHY WE LOVE IT

The Natural Blocks in Tray set is a timeless Montessori-inspired invitation to build, experiment and create without limits.

Featuring 54 wooden blocks in an assortment of geometric shapes and sizes, the set gives children complete freedom to transform their ideas into towers, houses, bridges, miniature cities and entirely imaginary worlds. With no predetermined outcome, every new construction becomes an opportunity for independent discovery.

The different forms encourage children to explore balance, proportion, symmetry and spatial relationships through hands-on play. They can test which pieces create the strongest foundations, discover how tall their structures can become and experiment with new ways of arranging and combining the blocks.

We love the beautifully natural character of this set. The subtle variations in the colour, grain and scent of the different woods create a rich sensory experience while allowing the material’s original beauty to remain visible.

Finished with beeswax and botanical oils, each block is carefully sanded until exceptionally smooth and soft to the touch. The accompanying solid wooden tray makes the collection easy to organise and turns tidying away into a satisfying matching and sorting activity.

Beautiful enough to remain on display and versatile enough to inspire a new idea every day, this is an enduring wooden play set designed to grow with a child’s imagination and be enjoyed for generations.
